CASE STUDY: Reduce Your Cost Per Hire

Our objective is to reduce our client's cost per hire (CPH). The average CPH for graduates currently exceeds £2,100. That’s quite a dent in the Christmas party fund.

RMP encourages employers to reduce their CPH through successful promotion of placement and intern schemes and retaining the best undergraduate talent.

The average cost per hire for attracting undergraduates on is only £614. Retaining top talent in your organisation is a means of reducing costs of hiring graduates without reducing the quality of your student intake.

A professional services firm received 4,332 applications for their roles, costing £1.80 per application.

A tech company advertised 20 roles on, and received 917 applications at £5.37 per application.

An SME had a small intake of 5 undergraduates, but received 420 applications for those roles with a cost of £2.38 per application.

A market research company made 10 hires at £250 per hire.

A broadband company hired half their 16 undergraduate hires costing £300 per hire.

A digital industrial company made 75 hires at £240 per hire.

A law firm converted 94% of undergraduates into graduate roles.

Two of our professional service clients converted 90% of their undergraduates.

Two clients in the construction sector retained 100% of their undergraduate intake into graduate roles.

"The quality of service from RateMyPlacement was fantastic! If I had any questions I'd get a response almost instantly. Our campaign went really well as we received a record-breaking amount of applicants."
