Our client’s objective was to engage with more female students and encourage them to apply for their STEM roles.
The client hosted a female-only STEM event celebrating successful women working in their technology department.
To ensure they invited the right audience, they used our innovative software RMP Connect to segment the student data they had collected through digital means and on campus. This identified a target group of 1,200 female STEM students that they could market the event to.
They sent targeted communications to this group of students advertising the event and encouraging them to register their interest in attending.
As this audience were already engaged, the email saw an open rate of 48% and a click-through rate of 20%, with 35% signing up to attend the event.
