What are we looking for?

We are looking for an ambitious and inventive Content Writer to expand our content marketing efforts across our websites and printed publications. You will be motivated by writing exciting content that engages readers and achieves great SEO results.

What will your role include?

Working on the undergraduate product RateMyPlacement.co.uk, school-leaver product RateMyApprenticeship.co.uk and our B2B brand website, RMPEnterprise.co.uk, to craft engaging content that drives relevant online traffic and connects with readers across both B2C and B2B audiences.


What will you be responsible for?

Main Responsibilities:
  • Researching competitors and similar content in the marketplace
  • Researching keywords using Ahrefs and SEMrush
  • Creating written content for specific target audiences, both B2C and B2B
  • Producing written content predominantly in article, editorial and blog format for online and offline media (anything from 300 to 3000 words!)
  • Publishing content on content management systems
  • Producing additional content for the wider team to support social media and email marketing

Other Responsibilities: 
  • Proofreading
  • Content promotion and distribution including link-building and guest posting
  • Supporting on B2C content strategy
  • Supporting on B2B content and client campaigns
  • Tracking content success on Google Analytics and analysing results
  • Keeping up to date with the content world, looking to bring new ideas into the mix

About the team

The Marketing team is made up of a mix of Digital Marketers, Offline Marketers, Creative and Content. Their main focus as a team is to make sure our B2C and B2B marketing is the best it can be; generating leads and maintaining an engaged audience. They all work very closely together and support each other to ensure they are doing both of those things consistently. They are a high performance team who genuinely care for one another's wellbeing and have a range of experience levels amongst them, so there is support and guidance at every stage. 


Skills and Experience:


  • 1-2 years experience in a similar content role
  • Familiar with SEO, content marketing, social media and other marketing disciplines
  • Organised, logical and thorough with a high attention to detail
  • Able to work alone, as part of a small team, or part of the wider RMP Enterprise company
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a time sensitive environment
  • Willingness to learn and passionate about developing skills
  • Excellent understanding of the English language (both spoken and written)


  • Familiar with how websites work, website structure and Google
  • Familiar with using HTML, WordPress and HubSpot


£23,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
