The role...

We’re seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Developer who wants a senior role in a team that’s building incredible web products. As the right person for this new role, you’ll have three to four years experience with a PHP framework. You should show us on-line products or services that you have taken a major role in developing.

We like to work with people who are ready to challenge us and who work well with others to energise our already high-energy team. We’re looking for someone the software developers will look to for advice and guidance, and who the lead developers will look to bounce ideas off to come up with solutions together. If you’re super-keen to be learning and be at the leading edge of your game we want to hear from you.

Our Stack

We primarily code in PHP 7.1+, JavaScript ES6, MySQL 5.7.x, and use a number of cloud-based services. An understanding of OOP is essential. Experience with MVC frameworks (we build on Laravel 5.x) and tools like Composer are essential. If you have any experience with running your own server, then you definitely should let us know. Over the last two years we also introduced new approaches and technologies such as IronMQ and TDD as well as refining our agile approach.

We’ve recently expanded our stack and some of the technologies we have introduced into our stack are Vue.js for projects that have complex UI requirements and Elasticsearch for our search engine. We are also always very keen to improve our testing and deployment processes. If you have experience in any of these areas this is a great opportunity to join us and shape how we implement and utilise this technology next year.
